We love the latest country here at Hot Country but Sunday morning we go back in time to play some of the music that today’s country was built on.

On the Sunday Morning Classic Country Breakfast we open up the vault and play some of the great oldies from country legends like Johnny Cash, Slim Dusty, Charley Pride, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson and Tom T Hall as well early releases from people like Lee Kernaghan, Gina Jefferies, John Williamson, Brooks & Dunn and Alan Jackson.

Des Deighton started out in radio hosting a country request show on commercial radio in Western Queensland back in the early 80s. His vast knowledge of country music means he has lots of interesting trivia to tell you about your favourite country artists.
